Strategic Cooperation: Building Film and Television Creation Base
The 13th Five-Year Plan brought unlimited opportunities, so it is imperative to industrialize films. In this world-renowned film market, there will be lots of breakthroughs and miracles of Chinese films. China is moving from a big film country to a powerful film country. On the basis of strong film industry system, China produces a batch of its own "high-concept" films with "huge investment, big production, big marketing, vast market and huge influence" every year.
Therefore, being a film company, it is inevitable for us to build a film and television creation base, train excellent creative talents and create excellent works in quantity. Guangxin Film Industry will strengthen strategic cooperation and build a series of film and television creation base. At present, we have three bases including Wuchang University of Technology Film and Television Media Research Base, Greenland Mountain Film and Television Shooting Base and Lichuan Film and Television Shooting Base. The film and television creation base will be built on the basis of these three bases, with the purpose of establishing an integrated platform of production, teaching and research, and providing service for characteristic teaching. At the same time, focusing on film and television creation, we will form a relatively perfect research system to enhance the company’s reputation in the field of film and television creation.
At present, with the film and television creation base relying on Wuchang University of Technology and other universities, we have formed a team with reasonable organization, rich teaching experience, high academic level and outstanding film and television creation ability. At present, the functions of the film and television media research base are mainly embodied in the work of the three functional departments: the Practice Center of Film And Television Creation, the Practice Center Of Film And Television Promotion, and University Film and Television Union in Hubei Province. There are two official student organizations in the two practice centers: the Film and Television Media Intellectual Creation Association and the Light and Film Creation Association. The main works of the Film and Television Creation Base include the creation of film and television works, the promotion of film and television media and we-media, and the study and practice of film and television major students.
The Film and Television Creation Base is an integrated platform of production, education and research, which integrates teaching and scientific research, literary creation and film and television practice. On the one hand, the base helps universities to recruit students in education and train and provide professional talents, thus the way of training professional talents with university characteristics has been formed. On the other hand, as an internship practice platform for students majoring in related disciplines, the base focuses on finding and training students with outstanding abilities in the film and television industry to build an excellent talent and works reserve for universities and society. It strives to build the film and television creation base into a Provincial Research Center for Humanities and Social Science in Hubei within five years, and increase the influence of the company in the field of film and television creation.
